We are looking to recruit someone who can create and maintain strong partnership links and work with multiple agencies to improve peoples' circumstances.
The Welfare Reform Team within our Housing Service is an integral part of our Income Management Team. As Welfare Reform Officer you will be responsible for your own case load, supporting a broad range of people to access the right services at the right time and supporting them to become more financially independent and ultimately, closer to work.
You will have a thorough demonstrable understanding of Welfare Reform and also a thorough working knowledge of Benefit advice and be available to assist our tenants and leaseholders.
You will coordinate, support and mentor residents in areas including, but not exclusive to:
* money advice * budgeting support * access to banking products * access to digital skills support * 'better off' calculations * access to job clubs * training and housing advice.
