Housing Options Officer

Salary:£21,412 - £27,594 pa (pay award pending) 

Hours:Temporary contract or Secondment opportunity for 6 months Full-time, 37 hours per week 

Working pattern:Full Time, Permanent position 

Location:Housing Options and Advice Team

You should ideally have a good level of education and experience of dealing face-to-face with the public, along with relevant experience in a housing environment. You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills and possess the ability to work within a busy, and often stressful environment.

Working with a broad cross section of the community to answer housing queries and assist in the solution of housing problems and homelessness, you will need to monitor applicants and manage the process for vulnerable people. You will also need to have a full driving licence to use the pool car.
