These are exciting times for ICT in Hillingdon and we are looking to fill a number of senior posts that can lead and embed these changes. About the job As an End User Compute Administrator you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the End User Compute environment, infrastructure and software to ensure the effective, smooth, timely, efficient and secure functioning of these services. You will design, plan, direct, coordinate and continuously improve the operational support of services and ensures that these services meet or exceed agreed services levels. Our End User Compute Administrators are also responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of end user compute systems i.e. Desktop, laptop, peripheral devices hardware and operating systems. You will seek to ensure that the uptime, performance, resources, and security of the computers you manage meet the needs of the users, without exceeding the budget and other constraints. In addition, you will acquire, install, or upgrade computer components and software, provide routine automation, maintain security policies, troubleshoot, train and/or supervise staff, or offer technical support for projects. About the person Able to operate in a team, you will have; - Experience as a End User Compute Engineer or Administrator ensuring the uninterrupted provisioning of PC’s, associated devices and services. - Significant ICT PC experience with demonstrable experience with Windows, SCCM, AD, MAC, iOS and Android solutions - Experience of interfacing with the business and ensuring service levels are met - Experience of Agile / Scrum methodologies - Experience effectively implementing change Additional information Disability Confident Employer&Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accountancy
