The role

Inclusion Manager required for April 2012 (or as soon thereafter)

We are looking for an innovative, dynamic and creative teacher to become part of the leadership team as our Inclusion Manager at John Ball Primary School, Blackheath, Lewisham.

You will lead the inclusion agenda in our school at both a strategic and operational level. We believe passionately in creating an inclusive ethos and have already achieved this. We now need someone to widen the inclusion agenda to ensure every single pupil in our school is making better than expected progress.What do you need to know about us?“John Ball is an outstanding and happy school. We have recently had an interim assessment from Ofsted confirming that we remain an outstanding school! This is an exciting time to join us.

We have a strong track record with inclusion and all of our pupil groups perform very well. Our provision is strong and the successful candidate will work with a large team of staff including a Pastoral Care Manager, large team of teaching and Learning Support Assistants, a SAL Therapist onsite one day a week and access to a wide range of well established links with other agencies and professionals.

· Through rigorous financial planning we have maintained all of our staffing levels, enhanced them and installed a new state of the art IT suite and system despite the budget cuts

Salary details and further information

This is a leadership post and as such, the successful candidate will be paid on L1-L5 of the leadership scale (including Inner London Weighting) or more for candidates with appropriate and relevant experience.
