We are looking for a proactive, customer-focused Income Officer to join our Incomes Team.
As a team we are responsible for the collection of local authority income streams, including, housing rents, leaseholder service charges and sundry debts. We are a supportive team and the successful candidate will share our commitment to delivering excellent public service.
Primarily your role will be to monitor customer accounts and to recover any outstanding payments due. You will be providing advice and support to our customers on a daily basis. You will also be liaising with external agencies, businesses and the various departments of our authority. Good numeracy skills are vital, along with the ability to negotiate solutions.
