As an Income Recovery Officer you will be working in a team of three reporting to the Service Charge and Income Recovery Manager. You will be responsible for proactively ensuring the effective income recovery of leasehold service charges (including major works). You will also liaise directly with leaseholders and key stakeholders and undertake recovery action in accordance with the arrears procedure, ensuring all accounts are regularly monitored and appropriate actions taken.
You will provide a customer focussed service to all our leaseholders and freeholders who are required to contribute to services charges.
This role requires excellent Microsoft Office skills, good attention to detail, the ability to interpret complex financial information and present this is an easy to understand manner. Highly developed communication and customer service skills will enable you to respond to queries clearly, explain complex issues in a straightforward way, not only with our residents but with other sections within the council.
