As an Information Governance Officer you will have a key role in ensuring the effective management of personally identifiable information. You will be at the forefront of developing integrated service delivery through sharing information. This will involve working with a wide range of people to facilitate better outcomes for children, young people and their families.

You will need to have sound working knowledge of legislation and frameworks relating to the use of information including the Data Protection Act and Freedom of Information Act, and how these are applied in practice. Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must and you should be comfortable in engaging with staff at all levels.
