The post of Insurance and Risk Management Officer sits in the Finance & Procurement Unit and is responsible for dealing with all aspects of insurance and risk management together with administration and performance monitoring for the Unit.
We are seeking a person who is self-motivated and with a proven background in insurance and risk management. The successful applicant will be:
Ø experienced in dealing with the public and professional people in the insurance and legal sectors
Ø have excellent administrative, customer care and IT skills
Ø able to offer advice and support to the Council on insurance and risk management
Ø Supervise a direct report, ensuring all performance management information for the Unit is reported accurately and promptly
