The Transport Services Team is responsible for the provision of in-house fleet and contracted passenger transport, including school and adult social care transport, local bus services and concessionary fares.
You will be responsible for co-ordinating in-house transport provision, including Adult Social Care and Pupil Referral Unit transport. You will provide support to the Senior Transport Services Officer (Integrated Transport) with all fleet management and maintenance issues and will be responsible for deploying staff resources efficiently.
You will have five years operational/technical passenger transport experience in either the public or private sector, should be educated to NVQ Level 4 or have similar experience, and hold a full Category D1 driving licence. This post is subject to an enhanced level DBS as you may need to work closely with children/vulnerable adults.
There are two ITO posts within the team, which operate split shifts, ie. 06:30-14:00 and 11:30-19:00 on an alternate week basis.
