The Internal Communications Officer will provide an effective, client-based internal communications service across the Council

Based in Public Affairs and Communications in City Hall and reporting to the Public Affairs and Communications Manager, he/she will work closely with the Human Resources service, as well as with Members, senior officers, partner organisations and staff throughout the Authority to co-ordinate internal communications on key shared issues and priorities.

We are looking for an excellent and highly motivated communicator, educated to degree standard, with at least two years’ experience of developing and delivering both client-focused communications and marketing services and effective internal communications strategies and products.

You will need project management skills, an understanding of organisational development, the ability to deliver to deadline and the drive to make a difference.
