Hull’s “Building Schools for the Future” project is a once in a lifetime opportunity to help transform learning in Hull through a £400M capital investment in schools and education. We are looking for an ‘Involvement and Communications Officer’ to add value to an already well-established, supportive Project Delivery Team. Working with the Media and Communications Manager you will demonstrate sound experience in communication and a wide range of skills in stakeholder involvement, ideally in a project setting. You must in particular demonstrate the capability to engage and involve children and young people to ensure their views are a constant feature of the project’s outcomes.

You will support the Media and Communications Manager to deliver high-level communications, through the BSF website, newsletters and media and market management as well as through stakeholder engagement to deliver a constant and positive message about educational transformation in Hull. You must be committed to ensuring children and young people are at the heart of that transformation, be calm under pressure and capable of managing competing demands.

You will be centrally involved in organising events, workshops and consultation activities to deliver high-quality stakeholder involvement and a consistent message about quality throughout the project.
