This is an exciting opportunity to join the management team of Islington Working, a project which supports Islington residents to access employment and training, and works with local employers to improve employment opportunities for local residents. You will be working closely with Islington Working for Parents, which is focused on pioneering new ways of reducing the levels of child poverty and improving the life chances of Islington children. This post will directly manage a team supporting residents to access employment, often based in outreach locations, and will help and guide them in developing strategies for progressing clients into work.
Based in the Environment and Regeneration Department, you will have experience of developing a team delivering effective partnership working to produce effective services.
This post will require that you have access to sensitive personal data and this will require you to undertake a satisfactory enhanced level, Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) Clearance.
