We are recruiting an IT Service Lead who will work with internalteams and third parties to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of ITServices to Metropolitan.
Based at our Offices in Southgate, you will provideefficient effective and business focused advice on IT matters, provide guidanceto staff on adherence to IT policies procedures and processes, and support theIT Security Manager with compliance to best practice. You will work inconjunction with customers and other members of the IT team to contribute tothe achievement of performance standards in the delivery of an efficient,effective, customer-focused and business-facing service. You will work withLevel 1 and 2 to achieve successful resolution of IT incidents, manage MajorProduction Incidents (MPI’s), coordinate responses to problems and incidents,build internal/external relationships, and contribute to projects andinitiatives within the IT Services Team.
You will also support the formal management of third partyvendors, ensuring satisfactory performance of third parties according to agreements,attend regular service meetings, lead service improvement activities, and makeuse of supplier escalation process as required.
Essential Criteria:
- Up to date knowledge of current and proposed ITdelivery best practice
- IT experience, comfortable working with managers/ colleagues and peers in relation to IT matters
- Experienced in Service Delivery management withclear ability to demonstrate:
- History of running a medium sized server estatesupporting circa 1800 users over circa 250 sites
- Experience of working with internal and externalparties who may be operating under a combination of OLA and SLA’s
- Team leadership experience including managing upto 15 staff
- Desirable experience of outsourced environmentsincluding TUPE
- Focal point for service matters affecting users
- Proven history of service improvement and focuson service consistency leading to enhanced user experience
Desirable Criteria:
- IT qualification orrelevant professional membership
- ITIL FoundationCertificate
