Wooden Hill is a successful and dynamic school which has been graded GOOD by Ofsted during the last inspection in November 2015. This is an excellent opportunity to join our popular, friendly school where children ‘… are polite and considerate. They work well together and enjoy learning’ and that ‘…strong leadership by the headteacher and the senior team ensure that there is a clear vision for the school. All staff share a commitment to raise achievement and to do the best for all pupils in their care’ (Ofsted 2015).
We are seeking to appoint a committed, creative and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Class teacher to start as soon as available. The successful candidate must be flexible and adaptable and will demonstrate high expectations in behaviour and attainment and also have a keen interest in different teaching and learning styles. You will have a good knowledge of the National Curriculum and can inspire and motivate others. The school can provide excellent mentoring so would be suitable for an NQT.
We can offer you:
a full time or part time teaching role (minimum of 2 days)
a careful and personalised programme of CPD
a large, strong, committed and supportive staff team
- happy and enthusiastic children who are eager to learn
We are looking for teachers who will:
be able to demonstrate a commitment to excellent and innovative teaching
have a clear understanding of how to differentiate learning experiences to engage and challenge all children
understand the importance of ongoing assessment to determine children's next steps in learning
be able to work effectively within a team
demonstrate a commitment to the aims and ethos of our school
- work hard with us to help us to continue to improve outcomes for our children and community
Visits to the school are warmly welcomed by appointment. To arrange this or for further information please contact the school on 01344 421117 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
