Robert Blair is an inclusive, multi-cultural school with Children’s Centre Services and a Language and Communication Resource.

We have a unique opportunity for an experienced, successful, well organised KS2 teacher with a commitment to supporting children with SEND.

The Language and Communication Resource at Robert Blair is a funded resource for up to 24 children from Foundation Stage to year 6 who have statements for specific speech, language and/or communication needs.

We are looking for a teacher for our KS2 Language and Communication Class (10-16 pupils). The post will require teaching in our Language Resource Base every morning and covering classes and providing support for children in the afternoons.

Experience and understanding of children with special needs, together with a basic knowledge of the use of visual support strategies is essential. The ability to also co-ordinate ICT across the school would be an advantage, a TLR2 may be available for a suitably experienced candidate.
