Are you articulate, innovative and enthusiastic? Do you have proven skills as a strategic thinker and a demonstrable track record in delivering positive outcomes within a multi-organisational partnership setting? If so we would like to hear from you.

We can offer you an exciting, challenging and wide ranging brief working with local Members, senior managers and partners to provide support to the Lancaster District Local Strategic Partnership and to be responsible for co-ordinating the development and implementation of our Sustainable Community Strategy. You will also be responsible for developing, leading and co-ordinating the LDSP’s approach to consultation and community engagement.

You will be required to work independently. You will be working with the local community and front line service providers, helping to shape and commission future service provision. You will be responsible for meeting tight deadlines, finding creative solutions to complex problems and ensuring that there are effective channels of communication within the partnership.

You will need to be skilled in relationship management, project and programme management and be educated to a degree level or equivalent.

Your personal qualities will include being able to work on your own initiative, demonstrate flexibility in meeting priorities and exercise tact, sensitivity and discretion at all times.

This is a key role in the modernisation agenda and will help the LDLSP partners to deliver their collective commitments outlined in our Sustainable Community Strategy and the Lancashire Local Area Agreement.
