The Tower Hamlets Arts and Music Education Service (THAMES) is rapidly expanding. The service provides an exceptionally wide range of arts and music activities for schools including instrumental tuition for 6500 pupils. As this grows we are seeking to appoint instrumental and curriculum tutors to our Panel of Approved Tutors.

The posts are for standard instrumental teaching in small groups; leadership and support for whole instrumental classes; directing ensembles; teaching primary curriculum music. We are particularly interested in hearing from all instruments but particularly singing, strings, keyboard/piano, tuned percussion and African drumming. Candidates applying to THAMES should indicate which posts they wish to be considered for. Applications for more than one post must be indicated on the application form. All successful candidates will be added to our panel of hourly paid tutors.
