Relief Staff Nurses

We are looking for Relief Staff Nurses with a sound knowledge and understanding of the needs of people with dementia for our Abbey Road home based in Newbury Park.

You’ll be responsible for providing a full range of nursing care to residents, taking responsibility for ensuring care programmes are planned, executed and monitored so a high quality of service is provided, whilst ensuring that residents are assisted to live an independent life as possible.

You’ll have the ability to use your initiative to make decisions and assess residents needs, as well as be able to work within a team. You will be experienced in adminstering medication, knowing the importance of maintaining high quality care documentation. We need someone with good record keeping and IT skills, who is able to work flexibly on a rota system. With sound verbal and written communication skills, your flexible approach will ensure you assist with the daily management of the home.

This position is relief on an as and when needed basis.
