Do you have the skills and enthusiasm to help us deliver a new grant programme for rural Surrey? We are looking for a forward-thinking person with excellent project administration skills.
You will provide project administration, recording and reporting activities for the Surrey
Hills Leader grant programme and the projects approved by it.
Leader is part of the new Rural Development Programme for England and the
programme will support a wide range of activities undertaken by rural communities and
businesses including farmers, growers and foresters.
Typical tasks will include administering awards, monitoring contracts and supervising payments. You will also provide pre-application advice to project applicants and assist with project assessment.
First class communication skills will enable you to work with a wide range of project applicants, partners and funding agencies. You will organise meetings, project assessment arrangements and provide administrative support to the Surrey Hills Leader Local Action Group.
