Learning Support Assistant 0.5 FTE

We are looking to recruit a dynamic and highly motivated individual to work with learners who may have physical disabilities, learning difficulties, mental health/well being issues/autism or aspergers or who are blind or partially sighted. The role involves providing one to one academic support or group support to learners on cross-college courses. Experience or qualifications in learning support work is an advantage but not essential.

You need to be able to work as part of a team, have good communication skills and an understanding of the issues and barriers learners with a learning difficulty and/or disability could encounter.

This post is based on a 0.5 FTE fixed term until 28 June 2013.
