The governors are seeking to appoint a LSA (SEN) to commence as soon as possible.
The successful applicant should be in sympathy with the ethos of a church school and will become part of a strong team committed to a good primary education and raising standards within all aspects of this voluntary aided church school.
We have a child with multiple, complex needs requiring support. You would be required to undergo some training which would include, but not be limited to, manual handling and administration of medication, both regular and emergency. You would be expected to work with the teacher and the parents to ensure that his learning and physical need plans are met and to undertake whatever task is requested of you to support his needs.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. The post is subject to an enhanced CRB check. The nature of the role demands flexibility with regard to the needs of the school.
