Leasehold Services Team Leader

We are currently recruiting a Leasehold Services Team Leader to join our successful Leasehold Services team and help deliver the best housing services in Tower Hamlets by 2014.

By 2014 we will:

• achieve the highest rate of resident satisfaction
• have the highest performance for the money we spend
• ease overcrowding through reducing under-occupation and illegal sub-letting by a third
• have a workforce that reflects the community we serve through creating opportunities for BME staff and Women staff to progress into more senior positions.

Leasehold Services is recruiting a Team Leader for its Major Works Consultation section. The successful candidate will manage a minimum of 4 Consultation Officers who carry out Section 20 consultation with leaseholders on major works schemes and qualifying long term agreements. This will be an exceptionally challenging role as you will manage the section 20 consultations and our Leaseholder Offer for leaseholders whose buildings will be refurbished as part of the Decent Homes external work programme starting in April 2013. You will be an experienced team leader with the ability to motivate and inspire your team, deliver high quality leaseholder consultation, work with leaseholders who are vulnerable or in financial difficulty, resolve complicated disputes and achieve excellent collaborative working across THH.
