Lambeth Sports and Recreation Service has a Leisure Client Team that aims to build a healthier and more active community in Lambeth through improved leisure service provision that meets the needs of Lambeth’s diverse communities. To this end, we are looking for a Leisure Client Officer that can help us improve leisure service access and quality by engaging with customers and monitoring the continued development of services within Lambeth’s Leisure Contract. This role will see you shape the future of leisure provision in Lambeth in partnership with a wide range of agencies using the community development, social inclusion, and health agendas.

The successful candidate will be required to ensure the effective delivery of leisure services in Lambeth and be able to provide examples of maintaining and managing high quality standards in leisure facilities. The candidate must have contract management experience and an in-depth knowledge of the role leisure centres can play in improving health outcomes.

You will be expected to maintain existing working arrangements with internal and external stakeholders and communicate with various partners and organisations, which will require you to possess excellent inter-personal skills. You will also be pro-active and capable of driving service improvement according to community need and demand.
