About the role
We have several fantastic opportunities for suitable candidates for providing high quality library services and support, assisting customers in their information, learning, reading and ICT needs.
You will be based at one of the libraries across the Camden borough and will be expected to work at additional libraries when requested.
About youWe are looking for experienced team players to successfully ensure a seamless customer experience on behalf of Camden Council providing ‘one front door’.
The successful candidate will also;
•Support the promotion of the library to local communities, raising awareness and increasing usage
•Taking responsibility for a safe, attractive and tidy environment for our customers
•Operates the service in the absence of a senior manager, with referral to service wide duty managers as required
The jobholder is required to work in within the libraries service ensuring that services provided exceeds customer expectations. May have specific responsibility within specialist areas and is responsible for ensuring the provision of consistent levels of service across all work areas. The jobholder is required to work flexibly to meet changing and conflicting priorities that may arise.
