Library and Information Officer Driver

You will join a team providing a borough wide vehicle based service operating from Childs Hill Library NW2.

The 7.5 tonne Mobile Library visits street sites, schools and residential homes, the Home Library Service involves selecting and delivering library stock by van to homebound customers.

You should have excellent communication and IT skills, enjoy working independently and as part of a team delivering a valued service to the public. In addition it is required to have experience of filing, routine administrative procedures and cash handling.

A driving licence with the C1 category is preferred but not essential, professional training is given prior to driving.

This is a full-time post and the work pattern includes two evenings per week until 8.00pm.

Due to the nature of the post a good level of physical fitness is required.
