A part-time mailroom attendant is required to work as part of a small team in the City Hall Mail Room.

Your duties will involve the sorting, delivery, collection and posting of all mail, handling high volume mailing equipment to provide an outgoing postal service and additionally carrying out other associated manual and clerical duties as required, in this busy department.

You will

  • Have at least 2 years experience of working in a mail room environment, plus clerical, computing and administrative skills.
  • 3 GCSE’s ( A-C) to include English and Maths, or NVQ Level 2 in Business Admin, OR an additional 2 years relevant mailroom experience
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Internet browser.
  • Be an excellent timekeeper, self- motivated and able to work to specific deadlines.
