Maintenance Operative – Joiner

Post Number: HT121 Grade: 6 Salary: £19,621 – £21,519 Hours: 37 Fixed Contract to 31 March 2013

The Council’s Housing Department is creating an In-House Maintenance Team to carry out repairs and maintenance to its Council Dwellings.

We are currently seeking to appoint a joiner to undertake day to day repairs and maintenance in our tenant’s homes.

Applicants will need to be able to demonstrate that they can undertake joinery repairs in a domestic situation to a high standard and ideally be multi-skilled. Applicants will need to have the highest levels of customer care and have a cheerful and positive disposition.

A full driving licence is required and the successful applicants will be required to provide an emergency repair service outside of office hours on a rota with other operatives.
