Maintenance Operatives (General Builders) x 2

The Council’s Housing Department is creating an In-House Maintenance Team to carry out repairs and maintenance to its Council Dwellings.

We are currently seeking to appoint a general builder to undertake day to day repairs and maintenance in our tenant’s homes.

Applicants will need to be able to demonstrate that they can undertake small scale repairs to external walls, paving, drainage systems, roofing repairs, plaster repairs, wall tiling, and decorative finishes in a domestic situation to a high standard and ideally be multi –skilled. Applicants will need to have the highest levels of customer care and have a cheerful and positive disposition.

A full driving license is required and the successful applicant will be required to provide an emergency repair service outside of office hours on a rota with other operatives.
