An experienced Planner is sought to instigate and manage planning applications for the Council’s priority development sites and to manage the Council’s planning obligations regime.

The successful candidate will play a lead role in negotiating planning obligations and will implement and manage the Community Infrastructure Levy. They will also have a significant input into the plan and policy making functions of the service.

Applicants should be members of the RTPI with experience of major development projects allied to knowledge of development economics. They must be excellent communicators, used to dealing with elected members and the public.
