An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Housing and Community Living Department to lead a comprehensive programme for the prevention of work related back and musculo-skeletal disorders through education, training and provision of specialist manual handling risk assessments and advice.
You must be highly experienced in current manual handling practice and techniques, have knowledge of current health and safety legislation and excellent communication and problem solving skills. A registered qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Nursing, or a recognised specialist Risk/Manual Handling qualification is essential.
