TV Probation are offering an interesting opportunity for a probation officer to join the Joint Police and Probation MAPPA Unit currently based at Police premises in Kidlington, Oxfordshire. The unit is likely to be relocated but it will remain in the Kidlington area, and the officer may need to work from Talisman House, Bicester, while relocation takes place.
You will work as part of a dynamic team who coordinate and maintain the ViSOR IT systems and the MAPPA process. Your specific role will be to assess and manage the MAPPA Level 3 cases as well as other complex cases.
You will need post qualification experience of working with High risk of serious harm offenders and have evidence of maintaining consistently high standards in producing assessments and managing complex cases in a multi agency context.
You will need to have completed relevant ROSH training, including domestic violence, child protection, sexual offending, violent offending and mental health. You will be IT literate and a team player.
