Location:Priestley Smith Specialist School, Perry Beeches Campus, Beeches Road, Great Barr, Birmingham 

An experienced, inspirational teacher of French (and/or Spanish), with a proven track record, is required in this highly successful school for pupils with a visual impairment from September 2012. Applicants must be hardworking, flexible, skilled at meeting the needs of a wide range of ability levels and be able to work up to GCSE standard. French is currently offered from Year 3 in the Primary Department through to Sixth Form.

The ability to offer a second subject is essential. Preferred subjects would be Religious Education, Mathematics, English or Business Studies.

The successful candidate will join a strong and successful team of people fully committed to maximising every child’s potential. Recent experience of working with children with SEN in mainstream or special school setting is desirable.
