Reading Museum Service is looking for a Team Leader to join our dynamic and innovative team. The successful candidate should possess enthusiasm for museums and be an effective communicator who enjoys working with individuals and groups of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. The role will include supervising the public galleries, ensuring the highest standard of service delivery, safety and security of visitors and exhibits.
This post provides an ideal opportunity to get hands on experience in co-ordinating the development, delivery and evaluation of a varied programme of activities and events, line management duties including doing 1:1’s and staff appraisals. The post is a key position within the operations team, working closely with the various teams across the Museum under the line management of the Operations Manager.
