Whitchurch Junior School, Stanmore is a three form entry primary school in North West London which has recently been rated as outstanding by Ofsted (January 2013). We have recently federated with another local school and are looking to expand our newly created band program across both sites so that pupils in both schools can learn a brass or woodwind instrument. The school has a strong record of innovative teaching and is well resourced. You will be passionate about teaching music to children aged 4-11 and will be committed to a varied extra-curricular program.

You will require:

• high level technical performance skills in brass or woodwind instruments

• excellent instrumental teaching skills

• the ability to lead rehearsals

• excellent behaviour management

• inspirational and creative leadership of children

• commitment to supporting with concerts and musical events

• the ability to lead extra-curricular activities.
