There are now exciting new opportunities within the restructured Neighbourhood Department for ambitious individuals to play an influential part in the delivery of Kingston’s vision for 2011.

NEIGHBOURHOOD MANAGER – 2 POSTS

Each Neighbourhood Manager will be responsible for and champion of one Neighbourhood. The Neighbourhood Manager, reporting to the Head of Neighbourhoods, will have responsibility for:

• direct involvement in achieving Neighbourhood Place Shaping
• co-ordinating the work in delivering the local policies within their designated Neighbourhood
• Provide professional advice and support to the Neighbourhood Chair (or Co-Chairs)
•
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced individual to expand their role and play a wide ranging part in developing one of the Borough’s Neighbourhoods. There will be the need for a flexible approach including some out of hours and weekend working.
