To address these concerns we are investing £1.7 million in our newly restructured Crime and Anti-Social Behaviour Service. We aim to make Newham a safer place to live, work and stay, and we will achieve this with a dynamic neighbourhood approach to crime reduction and a strong partnership with the Metropolitan Police Service. Taking on this influential management role will give you the opportunity to apply your knowledge of Crime and Disorder reduction in a way that will have a lasting effect. And now is an especially important time to do this, as the eyes of the world will be on Newham during the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2012.
