In this role you will assist in the delivery of new services and initiatives, ensuring new models of service meet the needs of the individual, deliver new contractual partnerships with local authorities and other key stakeholders including property partners, whilst being regulatory compliant and financially sustainable.
Key accountabilities/ responsibilities:
To work closely with, and to support, the New Project Director in developing new services
Develop services in accordance to the requirements and aspirations of those that use them
To work closely and in collaboration with the Regional Director who will assume responsibility for service delivery when the project is handed over to mainstream business
To be responsible for the start up phase, and operational delivery of the project until such point as it is agreed that it is appropriate to handover the operational management to the Regional Director
Demonstrate effective leadership to enable employees to provide consistent high standards of support
Promote and role model person centred approaches
To be accountable for development of project budgets with finance colleagues and to manage project budgets
Represent Avenues to promote the role of provider organisations in the national response to Transforming Care.
Manage any staff assigned to the role.

Experience of managing budgets and financial information
Sector and specialist experience
Knowledge of sector regulatory bodies and their standards
Knowledge of sector relevant legislation
Experience of working with people disadvantaged through illness and disability
