Would you like to join our enthusiastic team at Jump Start Nursery based in Moulsecoomb children’s centre? We are seeking a committed and experienced member of staff to provide administrative support and services to the nursery manager and team.
You will need a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Word is, along with the ability to communicate well with parents, and a warm and positive approach to young children.

You will provide full administrative support to the nursery manager and the nursery team, including reception.
Your duties will include:
Word processing, drafting correspondence and answering general telephone enquiries,
Act as the first point of contact for telephone and some personal callers to the nursery,
Operate computerised information systems, mailing lists, labels, children and staff records and other record keeping and administrative systems in accordance with data protection protocols
Produce statistics and reports, particularly those required by funding organisations
Maintain the nursery waiting list, process admissions forms, send out information to parents, and wider nursery and early years publicity
Design and produce forms and information sheets
Maintain stocks of stationery, forms and information and place orders for nursery equipment, supplies and services
Control and administer petty cash, invoices, travel forms, timesheets and other financial documents
Maintain recording systems to administer invoices for fees and receipt and recording of payments, including systems for reminder letters and chasing debts. Liaise with finance department
Deal with nursery maintenance issues, liaising with the Service Support Manager and the caretaker to arrange repairs as necessary
Provide cover for the children’s centre administrator/receptionist
