Occupational Health Nurse Adviser

Hours:22.5 Hours Per Week, Temporary Until March 2009 to cover for Maternity leave 

Working pattern:Part Time, Permanent, Contract position

We require a Registered General Nurse to work as part of our Occupational Health team. You should have a minimum of 2years post registration general experience. You should possess good organisational, excellent communication and report writing skills.

The role will involve providing managers, employees and HR with advice regarding pre-employment screening, attendance management, adjustments required to return to work, redeployment, DDA and other health issues. You will provide health surveillance and vaccination programmes as required by risk assessments and provide health promotion and education activities across the Council.

A good all round general health background and previous experience in working in an Occupational Health setting would be an advantage.

The hours are 22.5 which can be worked over 3-4 days, Mon- to-Fri.
