Occupational Health Physician

Role Description:
Surrey Fire and Rescue provide a vital service to the residents of Surrey and prides itself on delivering a consistently high standard of service to the local communities. We are looking for an Occupational Health Physician to join the Occupational Health Team, working with the Occupational Health Manager and others in the team to provide a comprehensive clinical and advisory service on all aspects of occupational health to our Fire and Rescue Service.

We are looking for a physician with the talent and commitment to deliver a wide range of occupational health services.

You will be able to advise on the implementation of legal requirements in relation to occupational health and ensure the organisation are aware of new or pending legalisation You will also have excellent communication and influencing skills, flexibility and with a commitment to multi-disciplinary working.

You will have the minimum qualification of a Dip Occ Med, but AFOM or MFOM are preferred. You will have a proven interest in progressing occupational health issues within an organisation or service. It is essential that you have significant experience in occupational health and are able to travel within the County at times when necessary.
