Operations Manager

An exceptional opportunity to lead a team of staff in the delivery of an exciting range of live events, films and conferences. You will have involvement in event and film programming and be responsible for the smooth delivery of our many conferences and hire events including responsibility for all event planning, front of house and box office functions.

Dorking Halls has an 800 seat theatre, a cinema and other function rooms. We present a huge range of shows from Jimmy Carr and Frank Skinner to Moscow Ballet and the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Your role will involve being deputy for the General Manager and gaining experience in all aspects of venue management. This is an excellent stepping stone to a general management position.

Keen to progress your career you will be able to demonstrate effective staff management skills and experience of working in a busy leisure environment dealing directly with the public. You will be committed to providing the highest standards of customer care and keen to broaden your management experience a multi-purpose venue.
