Nieghbourhood Services – Park Attendant – (Part Time)

12 Months Contract

Grade 4 – £9.56 per hour

Equivalent to 11.50 Hours per week.

A vacancy has arisen for a Park Attendant, we are looking for an individual to provide weekend and bank holiday cover on the boroughs parks and open spaces.

You should be confident self motivated individual prepared to work 2 weekends out of every 3 and Bank holidays on a rota basis.

You should be enthusiastic, confident, energetic, enjoy working outdoors and meeting and engaging with people of all ages.

Duties will include facilitation and supervision of Friends and Junior Ranger groups and assisting with events and leading local activities such as guided walks etc

Also included is the patrolling of parks and public open space to include litter collection and carrying our minor repairs and enforcing the council’s bylaws by issuing fixed penalties as required.

A enhanced CRB disclosure is required.
