Charnwood Borough Council is now looking for capable and motivated staff to help us manage Queen’s Park to Green Flag standard. We are looking for staff seeking Casual Work to cover holidays, etc.
Park Wardens – Scale 3, £ 8.1507/hour, plus 10.77% Holiday Supplement (Casual Staff)
You will be one of several Park Wardens providing a 7 day week Park Warden Service in Queen’s Park, Loughborough giving support and information for Park Users and carrying out enforcement of relevant environmental crime legislation as necessary.
You will need to have a passion for working outdoors. You will need good spoken and written skills and present a positive image of the council. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to work independently and communicate effectively with a wide range of people including children and young people.
Successful candidates will be required to work evenings until dusk and work weekends on a regular basis.
