Neighbourhood Services – Parks and Horticulture. We are looking for an experienced, motivated and innovative Parks Officer to join our award winning team.

As Parks Officer (Development) you will be responsible for the delivery of the Parks and Open Spaces Strategy and the management and development of all the park related assets. This will include management responsibility for a Technical Assistant. You will have experience of supporting community organisations, budgetary control, consultation and facilitating a parks events programme together with proven experience of environmental project management.

The position calls for sound experience of delivering parks development projects including securing and managing external funding.

The posts will require some evening and weekend working and successful applicants will be required to obtain CRB disclosure at enhanced level.
