Neighbourhood Services – Parks and Horticulture. We are looking for an experienced, motivated and innovative Parks Officer to join our award winning team.

As Parks Officer (Play) you will assist with the delivery of the Play Strategy. You will be responsible for the management and development of all youth facilities within parks and open spaces and will supervise the operation of the playground and landscape teams. You will have experience of supporting community organisations, budgetary control, consultation with young people as well as proven experience of environmental project management.

The position calls for sound experience of delivering parks development projects including securing and managing external funding.

The post will require some evening and weekend working and successful applicants will be required to obtain CRB disclosure at enhanced level.
