Edgbarrow School is a thriving and vibrant 11-18 school with a 77% pass rate A*-C including Maths & English.

We have an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic individual to join our Pastoral Department. The successful applicant will provide a high quality support to the specific Year Group or department in all administrative and clerical responsibilities. Applicants must have good keyboard skills, be proficient with MS Office and desktop publishing plus have experience or working within a clerical/administrative setting. We offer an excellent induction programme, promotion prospects and highly supportive working environment.

Edgbarrow School is situated on the edge of Crowthorne and has good access to M3 and M4 corridors, we have a strong reputation that makes us the first choice for families in Crowthorne and the surrounding area. The school site is shared with Edgbarrow Sports Centre which includes sporting facilities such as an all-weather playing surface, squash courts and a health and fitness centre.

Edgbarrow is very proud to have achieved and maintained the Investors in People status over the past nine years and we are committed to the ongoing training and development of all our staff and offer a full and varied in-house training programme. We are also part of the Healthy Schools Programme and we have an active healthy schools task group which draws together the whole school and community to improve the well being of staff and pupils.

We have a new purpose built Sixth Form Building which opened in September, 2010. Our Sixth Form has a proven track record of success with young people of which we are very proud and our results continue to place us as one of the best performing Sixth Forms not only in the immediate area but also throughout Berkshire. We strive for the highest possible academic standards and it is our aim to prepare students for higher education, lifelong learning and their future careers.
