Permanent Contract, Full Time Hours
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Environment department for a highly motivated and dynamic individual to provide managerial support to the senior leadership of the Environment Directorate
As the Manager of the Environment Department’s Performance and Business Support team, you will be the key contact for the whole department on a number of initiatives. You will work closely with senior managers to ensure the effective and efficient management and monitoring of key departmental priorities, projects and issues.
You and your team will represent and champion the interests of the Environment department across the County Council as well as expertly manage projects and change initiatives, handle the department’s customer services and complaint reporting, manage risk and performance monitoring, service planning and administrative support.
We are looking for exceptional candidates who can demonstrate an ability to work independently in a fast paced environment. Possessing excellent organisational and communication skills and with a strong background in project management and delivery, you will also have experience of managing a team and possess proven interpersonal skills and a high level of personal drive and energy.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, is quick to learn and is able to deliver efficient and high quality work.
