Post title: Personal Assistant to Corporate Management Team (Job no: 02175)

Grade: 6 – £25,472 – £28,636 salary Per Annum pro rata

Contract: Permanent 22.5 Hours per week (including provision of afternoon cover)

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the team that provides support to the Council’s Chief Executive and Executive Directors.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

􀂃 Provide a full range of secretarial and support services to a designated member/s of the corporate management team

􀂃 Diary management for the designated member/s to include arranging meetings, collating and providing papers, and producing briefing notes

􀂃 Arrange and attend corporate management and other designated meetings, including organising rooms, and drafting, production and distribution of agendas and minutes

Essential Criteria

􀂃 Experience in a PA role, providing support at a senior level

􀂃 Computer literate in Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint

􀂃 Experience of working with a wide variety of internal and external customers

􀂃 Excellent communication skills

􀂃 Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times

􀂃 Customer focused approach

􀂃 Ability to manage conflicting priorities and retain calm under pressure
