Salary: £8.36 per hour, You will also receive a sleep in allowance of £28.20 per night worked

Contract Term: Care Bank (Zero Hour contract)

Hours: Various hours on an as and when basis (Zero Hour Contract), including day shifts, sleep ins and waking nights

We are looking to increase our care bank staff and are inviting applications for Personal Assistants (Home Care Workers) – Domiciliary Care Bank.

Working as part of a team delivering personal care you will be required to visit people in their own homes and assist with day to day activities to ensure they are able to live as independently as possible.

Depending on people’s needs, you will cover a range of care and support duties including assistance with personal hygiene, such as washing, dressing, skin care, toileting and the administration of medication (where specified and once appropriately trained).

The roles will be working across a range of service user groups including:

• Learning Disabilities
• Mental Health
• Brain Injury
• Physical Disabilities
• Older People
• Dementia care
• Long-term conditions and complex needs

You will need to have excellent communication skills and be committed to supporting service users to live independently. You will have an understanding of how to support people with a range of health or social care needs, but full essential training will be provided.
