The Directorate of Children and Young People’s Services has been given challenging targets to further improve:
·High quality physical education teaching and learning in schools and to achieve the entitlement of two hours physical education for all young people.
·The opportunities for all young people to access a further three hours of physical activity in an innovative and creative way.

We work closely with all schools to raise achievement and participation in physical education and also work very closely with the two Sports Partnerships, the Healthy Schools Team and the PCT. Could you add to the strength of this team to help us further enhance our achievements? We are seeking to attract a committed and enthusiastic person to bring additional expertise and drive to our team.

Who might you be? You may be a successful teacher with experience in sports development or a successful Partnership Development Manager who is looking for a challenging role and career development.
